The body is the personality exploded into three dimensions

— Dr. Ida P Rolf

What is Rolfing® Structural Integration?

Rolfing® Structural Integration is where science meets somatics. Through precise, hands-on touch and movement education, we tune into your body’s unique patterns to release chronic tension, realign your structure, and restore a sense of effortless balance and adaptability.

Developed by Dr. Ida P. Rolf, this systematic approach addresses the root causes of pain and dysfunction rather than just treating symptoms.

Through a series of sessions, I work to:

  • Release chronic tension
  • Refine posture and alignment
  • Enhance flexibility and range of motion
  • Optimize movement patterns for daily activities
  • Discover greater balance and coordination
  • Cultivate body awareness

Who gets integrated?

Rolfing® Structural Integration is for everyone that has a body. From high-performance artists and athletes to high-frequency screen-starers, I help everybody find their own natural rhythm. People usually find their way to my studio for three reasons: they’re healing an injury, looking to break out of old, tired movement patterns, or simply ready to feel more at home in their own skin. Drawing on 30 years as a dancer, I view a Rolfing® session as a true duet: relational, harmonic, and perfectly balanced.

What does a Rolfing® Structural Integration session look like?

  • Sessions are 60-75 minutes
  • First session will be 75 minutes to go over an intake form
  • You will be lying down, standing, moving and walking
  • Structural analysis
  • Sessions include palpation, soft tissue manipulation and movement

What should I wear to my Rolfing® Structural Integration session?

Wear loose and comfortable clothing made of stretchy material. Clients typically wear running shorts and sports bras.

How often do I need Rolfing® Structural Integration?

Like a vehicle, our bodies need tune ups to maintain peak performance. After your initial Rolfing Ten series, we can discuss options to continue working together to find the best fit for you and your lifestyle. The frequency is different for every body.
